The spaghetti dinner is a separate event held before Oktoberfest. It is one evening only, indoors in the school cafeteria, on Sunday, September 13.
Holy Name Oktoberfest is the outdoor street festival on Friday and Saturday, September 25 and 26. There is no spaghetti dinner at the festival.

What’s on the table
Bring an appetite. We are not counting plates.
Parish families cook, parish families serve, and everybody eats until they are done. It is a simple, loud, cafeteria-table kind of night, and that is exactly the point.
Admission is free when you buy a Big Ticket Raffle ticket, and it covers you, your spouse, and your children. This is the school’s fundraiser, so please keep it to your immediate family.

This is the only night they happen. Buy your raffle ticket before September 13 and you are in all four.
4 × $250 Early Bird
We pull four winners at the dinner, $250 apiece. Winning an early bird drawing does not take you out of the running — your ticket goes right back in the drum for the grand prize.
$15,000 Grand Prize
The Big Ticket Raffle grand prize is drawn at Oktoberfest, not at the dinner. Tickets are $100 and only 1,000 are sold, so the field stays small.
50/50 Raffle
Running at the dinner too. Half the pot goes home with one winner, the other half goes to the school.
$18,000 in total prize money across the raffle season: a $15,000 grand prize, four $250 early bird drawings at this dinner, and additional drawings during the festival.

Is the spaghetti dinner the same thing as Oktoberfest?
No. They are two separate events. The spaghetti dinner is Sunday, September 13 in the school cafeteria. Holy Name Oktoberfest is the big outdoor festival on Friday and Saturday, September 25 and 26. There is no spaghetti dinner at the festival.
How do I get in, and who does my ticket cover?
Admission is free when you buy a Big Ticket Raffle ticket. One ticket covers you, your spouse, and your children. This dinner is a fundraiser for Holy Name Catholic School, so we ask that it stays to your immediate family rather than a larger group.
What are the early bird drawings?
We draw four early bird winners at the dinner, $250 each. Every raffle ticket sold is in the drum, and early bird winners stay eligible for the $15,000 grand prize drawn at the festival. Buying early is the only way to be in these four drawings.
How much is a raffle ticket?
Big Ticket Raffle tickets are $100 each and only 1,000 are sold. That caps the field and keeps the odds better than most raffles this size.
Do I have to be there to win?
No. You do not need to be present to win any of our drawings, including the four early bird drawings and the $15,000 grand prize. Winners are contacted, so buy your ticket and go about your day.
Who does this support?
Every dollar goes to Holy Name Catholic School and parish ministries. The dinner is how we kick off raffle sales each year.
